April 19th - Sourdough Class (Beginner) Starter, Discard recipes and making your own noodles

Welcome to sourdough classes that will help you understand the traditional methods of making, baking, and sharing sourdough bread.
This class is a 2 hour class 3pm-5pm that is intended for beginners & newbies. It is appropriate for ages 12+.
We will cover these topics::
- Sourdough starter
- Sourdough tools
- Sourdough discard
- Clean up
- Making the noodle dough
- Fermentation
- Baking
- Cooling
- Storing
Each topic will be discussed and examples will be shown. Because this is only a simple overview with open discussion as well as answering questions, we will not be baking any bread in this class. This will focus on starter, noodles and discard recipes. It is a great introduction to sourdough
You will leave the class with:
- Active sourdough starter
- A beginner sourdough recipe
- A list of recommended tools
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early as we will start promptly. Spots are limited to 10. All attendees must reserve their spot prior to the class.
