May 24th - Sourdough Bread Class for Beginners

Welcome to sourdough classes that will help you understand the traditional methods of making, baking, and sharing sourdough bread.
This class is a 2-1/2 hour class that is intended for beginners & newbies. It is appropriate for ages 12+.
We will cover these topics::
- Making the dough
- Stretch & folds
- Shaping (spring rise / ear)
- Fermentation
- Baking
- Cooling
- Storing
Each topic will be discussed and examples will be shown. Because this is only a simple overview with open discussion as well as answering questions. You will take home your bread to bake and bake a small loaf in class.
You will leave the class with:
- Active sourdough starter
- A beginner sourdough noodle recipe
- A list of recommended tools
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early as we will start promptly. Spots are limited to 10. All attendees must reserve their spot prior to the class.
No refunds will be issued for this class. Please be sure you will be able to attend. You will have one opportunity to reschedule.
